WEST HOUSTON ASSISTANCE MINISTRIES is the result of the generosity of a coalition of sponsoring churches, revenues from the Second Blessing Store, businesses, organizations and individuals from the community and nationwide. Support is in the form of direct monetary donations, donations of saleable articles for the Store, food for the Food Pantry, toys and special contributions for activities such as Christmas and "back-to-school" programs and, perhaps most importantly, by individuals (volunteers) who generously provide their hours of service to the Ministry.

While the coalition churches, as part of their budgets, provide the basic backbone monetary support, it is, in total, the generosity of those in the community who determine the ultimate success with regard to achieving our goals. These goals include the betterment of lives of those in need, creating safer and more appealing neighborhoods and providing a spirit of solidarity of community. Please join us.
