Thanksgiving Meals
Our Thanksgiving Meal Program begins a week prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday. We reach out to as many needy families as there are available donations. Thank you for your generosity!
Christmas Program
December brings special displays of Holiday items and ornaments into our showroom. The Toy Drive will only be considered a success with your help. Direct money and toy donations allow needy families to provide items of choice to children and family members. We hope to bring a light of hope to all we serve each Holiday season.
Back-To-School Supplies Drive
The Back to School program continues to be a success. Each year we distribute school supplies to young students in Alief ISD and Houston ISD. This year the Progam assisted 900 individuals with school supplies. The program was made a success by both monetary donations and by WHAM volunteers who donated their time and effort.
National Charity League Food Drive
The National Charity League (NCL) Houston Hearts Chapter is a mother/daughter volunteer organization. This year was their second Annual Food Drive for WHAM's Food Pantry. It culminated on September 6. This year they collected over 3 tons (6661 lbs to be exact). Not only did these Mother/Daughter teams collect the food, but also delivered and shelved the food in the Pantry. These are truly a wonderful bunch of volunteers.
