| WHAM Headquarters Building. The building is located in the heart of West Houston (just to the West of the Sam Houston Toll Road, between Richmond and Westheimer). Shown here is a Southwest view of thefront of the building. Parking for shoppers, volunteers, staff and clients is provided on the East and North sides of the building. The front entrance is to the Second Blessing Resale Store showroom. Donations are accepted to the rear (West) side of the building. The client entrance is on the North side. |

| Administrative Offices.Employees and volunteers staff the administrative offices. Program services are evaluated and monitored for their success, and the operations of the organization are carried out in accordance to the tax exempt purposes of the ministry. |

| Client Services - Entrance. Clients enter the facility via the entrance shown which is the East side of the building. Parking is available at the entrance as shown and on theSouth (right of the picture shown) side of the building. |

| Client Services - Receptionist Area. Volunteers at the Receptionist area provide a warm and friendly greeting to clients visiting the facilities. WHAM provides training tools necessary for the volunteers toprocessclient requests. Receptionistsschedule appointments and answer phones. |

| Client Services - Client Waiting Room. Clients await appointments in the waiting room area located in the Northwest corner of the building. Clients proceed from here to the interviewing rooms.An interviewers will meet with the client to discuss needs.The larger facility allows the ministry to accommodate a growing community and provide a comfortable atmosphere. number of clients. |

| Client Services - Interviewing Offices. Client Services is staffed by volunteer interviewers. Each interviewer meets with a needy client one on one. The clients seek the services of the ministry because of a crisis. Clients must qualify for assistance based on providing crisis documentation. Clients may request financial aid (e.g., rent/mortgage, utilities) food, and clothing. |

Client Services - Interviewers. The volunteer interviewers workbehind the scenes. Theyperform the paperwork required to track client progress. The interviewers are trained in interviewing skills before they begin their one on one interviewing.
Proper training is necessary and a requirement in order for services to be carried out effectively.The benefitfor the client lies in how well the interviewer is equipped to carry outprogram objectives. |

| Chapel. The Chapel is a room specifically set aside for refuge and worship. A lay minister is available during normal hours for the Client Services Ministry. The chapel is available to all clients, volunteers, employees and signed-in visitors. |

| Food Pantry. The WHAM Food Pantry entrance is located toward the rear of the building.Volunteers assist in collecting, shelving and distributing food to clients. Food assistance is provided to clients in a crisis situation. The supplement given is a 7 day food supply. The pantry accepts non-perishable items and limited quantities of perishable foods (e.g., bread, pastries). Donations from restaurants, bakeries, and individual donors are always appreciated. | Second Blessing - Showroom. The Second Blessing Resale StoreShowroom is a 6000 square foot area stocked with almost everything you could find in a department store (except the kitchen sink ... we do not carry major home appliances such as ranges or refrigerators). The floor is organized into specialty areas for clothes, appliances, jewelry, books, media and much more. The store is open to the general public and our shoppers encompass the entire range of the West Houston populace. |

| Second Blessing - Sales Counter. The cashiers are volunteers (showroom central). They process a steady flow of customers (9AM-5PM) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and (10AM-7PM) Thursday. Many of ourshoppers are long timefaithful customers and contributors. |

| Second Blessing - Book Area. The Second Blessing showroom consists of several "stores within the store". Our well-maintained and stockedBooks and Media Area brings back repeat shoppers year after year. Recent best sellers can be had at a fraction of retail. Thestock changes daily. Manyitems may never be seen in the large commercial book stores (and at bargain prices). A special area is devoted to religious, philosophical and inspirational books. |

| Second Blessing - Boutique. The Boutique Shop at Second Blessing showcases jewelry and finer small items. It is here that aone-of-a -kind item can be found at anaffordable price.Store securityis provided for the safety of community, customers, staff and volunteers. | Second Blessing - Donations Receiving Area.Donations are accepted from individuals, businessestablishments or via our pickup service. We are blessed with a community that donates items ingood condition such as home furnishings, clothing, housewares and items that will directly aid the lives of those less fortunate. Every day brings us new and different merchandise for our showroom floor. |

| Second Blessing - Donations Pricing Table. The sorting/pricing area is the heart of the merchandise processing area. Volunteers in this area sort through incoming donations and pass on items such as books, media and clothing to pricing specialists in those areas. Mechanical and electronic items are passed to our volunteers for testing and repair. Other volunteersrefinish orrepair furniture. No item is placed on the showroom untilit passes our inspection. |

| Second Blessing - Computer Repair. Individuals and corporations frequently donate surplus equipment. Our "Computer Repair" group "cleans" donated equipment of programs and files which are inappropriate for resale. They thenbuild, test and certify the operability of equipment and/or systems before placement in the showroom. The computer area of the showroom is extremely popular with shoppers looking for computer systems at bargain prices. The same group is responsible for maintaining the administrative computerware and networking for WHAM. |

| Second Blessing - Clothes Sorting Area. The clothes sorting area is located off the South side of the Retail Store Showroom.Volunteerssort and price donations as such asclothes,shoes, belts, bags and accessories.Before makingit to the showroom, the workers inspect the items for defects and wear. Badly worn items are discarded. |

| Job SearchArea. Internet connected computers are accessible to clients for ourJob Search Ministry. Volunteer support assists those needing instruction on how to use the job search facilities of the computer and how to post/write resumes. The community businesses or individuals may submit job postings. |

| Break Room. The Break Room is a favorite meeting place for volunteers to enjoy meals and each other's company. Volunteers from each area of WHAM and staff members often go here to read information on the bulletin boards or fellowship with each other. |
|
| Conference Room. The central meeting room serves as host to the Board of Directors and as a classroom. Our Education Program,offers English class for members of the community. Improved knowledge of the English language improves their ability and widens the possibilities of finding productive work. |
