What it means to be
a Cowboy or a Cowgirl
Cowboys and Cowgirls take on and accomplish
any job given to them,
no matter how hard or dangerous the job may be.
They ride and compete for pride,
not for the actual belt buckle or title.
They will stay all night on a trail of cattle
being pushed around the state or country.
Or, at the same time, go 20 miles out of the way
to take a sick dog to a vet for someone's child.
They never look for trouble,
but if it comes,
they face it with courage and dignity.
Cowboys and Cowgirls defend good people
who cannot defend themselves.
They have always have high morals, good manners
and, above all, are honest.
This is why WHAM celebrates
