ó       2009 Annual Benefit Concert featuring the Houston Civic Symphony

 

October 9, Friday, at First Methodist Houston-Westchase.

ê      Sponsors and Patrons bring the joy of music to those unable to travel Downtown. 

ê      It is a West Houston tradition and fun for the whole family.

ê      Special discount tickets available for students and groups.

 

ó   Back-To-School Supplies Drive

 

Collections run from May 1 through July 31.

ê      Area children from families in need receive supplies - Alief and Houston ISD schools.

ê      Over 700 children were served through this program last year.

 

ó   Adopt-A-Family Program - Winter Session

 

Sign up your family or your office beginning September 15th .

ê      Families in dire need of household essentials are registered.

ê      Sponsors shop for items determined by individual family needs.

 

ó   WHAM DINE-ARAMA 2010 International Cuisine Affair

 

January 28, 2010, Thursday (tentatively scheduled).

ê      Participating restaurants share their meal magic to the public.

ê      Ticket purchasers get to choose their dining fare as proceeds benefit WHAM.

 

ó   COMMUNICATIONS CHAMPIONS

 

 Sponsor various print projects that get the word out.

ê      The WHAM Annual Report tells the WHAM Mission and is read year round.

ê      Direct Mail Newsletters inform donors and volunteers all about activities.

ê      The WHAM WEB is a great way to show your community activism with business logo placement, or, in Honor of someone you love.

 

Energize the West Houston community with your participation

the IRS charitable giving laws.

oversized den or bedroom sets,

dining room sets, or appliances,

please call for a FREE pick up

at tel. (713) 977-5460.

 

This new 24-hour hotline lets donors

schedule a pick up appointment at a convenient time. 

 

Our need is for furniture and large appliances.  

Because of our quality Donation Standards,

only new donations or gently-used and working condition

items can be accepted. 

Pick up hours are scheduled Monday through Saturday only.

Volunteers will be given an opportunity to choose their days and times.
