Donations

The work of our Assistance Ministries would not be possible without the generous donations of people like yourself.  The majority of our funding comes from public donations.  We encourage you to consider donating online .  Having considered the reasons and having developed your personal philosophy for giving, we hope that you will participate in our donation drives.  If you cannot contribute financially or by donating items for our Second Blessing Store, please consider donating your time as a volunteer.

Donating ... a great way to make use of those items gathering dust around the house.  Consider your need for the item versus that of our clients.  You will have the pleasure of knowing you have made a difference
and, of course,
your donations are subject to tax deduction).

Contributing Sellable Goods: We can put your donations to good use through our Second Blessing store.  All items donated, of course, are tax deductible (you can fill a form out when you arrive).  For your records, you should provide a detailed list of the items donated.  Corporations donating inventory are eligible for special tax benefits. Donations are accepted at the back of the store (10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Saturday, No donations accepted SUndays - We are closed.).  If you have items that need pick up, please contact us at our offices to arrange a time and date. Our Donations Guidelines provide detailed information as to type of articles which we do and no not accept and how donations are used. Also, see Current Needs for items which are particularly of interest today.

We reserve the right to refuse items we have deemed unacceptable.

WE ACCEPT DONATIONS at our LOCATION

Drop off food, furniture, and household donations at WHAM.  We are located south of Rogerdale and Westheimer.  Our address is 10501 Meadowglen @ the corner of Rodgerdale (west of Sam Houston Parkway.  A store supervisor will accept your donations behind the Second Blessing Store, 3100 Rodgerdale.

We are closed on Sundays.
